    Is there ANYway to put a computer to be your ally in play custom? ???

    computer allies are a waste of time

    not if they dramatically improves the sc2 AI, AI in gaming has come leaps and bounds in the last few years, i hope blizzard can spend some time on making a competitive AI, with the micro advantages that the computer has, it's totally possible to make the computer better than the average player

    well so far bizzard said that you can take control of their units if you both click share units and he left the game.

    Yes, good point. I remember in Homeworld 2 when you play in custom you can choose if the computer is allied or not with you. Of course there must be an enemy to start the game. And you could choose if you want your ally to be weak, middle or strong, as for the enemy.

    If you really want computer allies, don't play at the single player option. Go to multiplayer and play LAN either in UDP or IPX. You can setup alliance there even with computer.

    You guys should always play at multiplayer especially custom games even if you're just going up against AI. That way you guys won't be tempted to cheat on the game.

    You always have to put humans and AIs on different forces when you save the scenario, but you can set AIs to be allies in UMS by changing the alliance settings with a trigger once the game starts. Use the "set alliance status" action.

    thank 10-neon, I was trying to figur out if it was posible, It helps me with te campaing that im trying to create.
