Im just wondering, have you noticed no body units, dont have helmet or oxygen tank, except for the Protoss and Zerg, is that mean there is no air or oxygen in Starcraft Universe just asking. ???

    thank you. :)

The Zerg were designed for hostile environments and the Protoss have shields that can hold in the oxygen (assuming that is what they breathe)

On the planets there is. In space no. Unless you count the one molecule per cubic meter

Well, there is. The marines have suits that should also give air to its occupant.

the zerg are mainly designed for planetare battles, only the devourers holdenough gas to fly in space for a while.
    the protoss got their shields
    the terran got life suits

and remember, on space platform maps is oxygen

how is there oxygen on a space platform. Secondly how are there minerals and gas on space platforms, natural resources should not occur on spaceplatforms

Unless platforms are built on large floating rocks or asteroids, something like that. Still that doesn't explain oxygen

Oxygen on space platforms? It's in space, space is vacuum, so there's definately no air in space.

The probable reason there are vespene geysers ad minerals in space platform is asteroids or other rocks colliding on the platform and fragments of some of the asteroids has minerals on them. Just a speculation by the way.

Space platforms are build on asteroids. Also there is gravity and Air on them, otherwise Banshees wouldn´t work on them.

There's gravity and air on asteroids? Are you sure?

Aren't asteroids asteroids _because_ there's no gravity there?
    Not sure though

Thats why they are space platforms and not installations on asteroids.

I doubt protoss need oxygen. They have no mouth or nose, unless they breathe through their eyes. I'm pretty sure there is no oxygen on SOME places like platform or char. Gas can form without oxygen and so can minerals. But on places like badlands or jungle where there is tree's, I'm not sure to why they still need their bulky oxygen suits. Then again, it's not real life and making more than one model for a unit would be annoying, or we can be creative and say that zerg and protoss blood is highly toxic, so the suits are required to protect them from viral infections.

There is gravity everywhere there is mass. Astroids have gravity just not enough to hold an atmosphere.

As far as resources on space platforms, I don't know. It really doesn't make any sense so I recommend that you just don't worry about it. Of course, artificial gravity doesn't make any sense either and the only reason we thought up the concept is because sci fi authors in books, tv, movies, games, ect, is because they don't want to deal with zero g environments.

Remember, artificial gravity doesn't have to be real gravity at all. It could just be a weak magnetic field, although that doesn't explain why Zerg could stay on the platforms.

No, but that's explained sufficiently by the fact that the Zerg were designed for such hostile environments and the Protoss probably don't need to breathe.
