Yes, yes i know there is an ai thread below me but this is kinda different, i was just thinking tht blizzard should make the ai kinda follow and counter or copy wat you do, i know this may sound a little wierd at first but if you look closley at these two games(CnC3 and Company of heroes) i found tht the ai tries to counter or copy wat you do. So i heard some people complaining about how the ai does the same thing all the time, but this could put a new twist on the game and make you think differently every time you play. I'm alaways up for a good challenge and trying to find ways past things and i think that this would be a good idea to either 1) pick the way you want your ai to play or 2) Make the Ai constantly change in strategy or play style.

Once again this is just an idea.

AIs that learn would require university-level/undeveloped-level technology that would impractical to put into a game like StarCraft. I say this knowing perfectly well that there are games with learning AI (Black and White 2) but the learning only happened in a specific part of the game, even though the game was built around it.

Plus, having the AI copy players could lead to the players purposely training the AI to be stupid, then flatten them whren they try to use those strategies.

You'll need to wait a good 10 more years before you see real smart AI in games, if not longer.

    LOL

And yes, the AI has very funny moments of complete dullness.
