Affected by night and day

Don't you think templars should be affected by day and night

I think it would only make sence that templar being from diffrent sides of the spectum of light that it would only make sence that they are affected by night and day. For example a high templar should regenorate enorgy much fast in the day time then at night. Dark templare would only be cloaked at night, or perhaps there second blade on there sithe would only activate at night giveing them a much more powerfull attack

It could be protosses unique affect towards night and day. discuse

 

They're protoss, not night elves. Their energy is from psi or "the void"

not even sight range, they see in a different wavelength and use sensors on their ships and vehicles

Like Paragon said they are Protoss not Night Elves. That and their eyes look like they could see fine in night.

 

The Zerg should not be effected significantly by night and day. They were genetically enhanced and so the small effects of day and night should not effect them. SHOOT - they can live in space!

The Protoss are an advance species that has psionics. Most of their units are inside mechanical units. I would imagine they would have night time glasses or enhanced vision.

The Terrans are another matter. We know us humans are effected by day and night levels. However, we currently (in real life) have night time bionoculars as well as several different light enhancements devices currently. The Terrans in the future are no different, I am sure. I have no doubt they improved on the technologies and night or day fighting makes very little difference for any of the three races.

In the cutscene with the Amerigo; the Terrans had those goofy nightvision goggles. So I ma sure the marines in their space helmets have something similar.

 

Day/Night should be for aesthetics only, vision ajustments would be stupid, It wouldnt be fun having to wait untill day to attack when you can see. How would it affect siege tanks, if there sight range was reduced at night couldnt units that are normally out-ranged by them, at night outrange the siege tanks. A situation like this would throw off the game's balance and dictate at what time of day you can attack.

Night and day should be aesthetics only.

 

But if blizzard will put night and day wait isn't its in space so probably in space there is no Morning?? well im not sure.

 

what is night and day? day has billions and billions of photons flying around where as night has very little.

the dark templar isn't sensitive to photons, the word dark here refer to the void, the dimension where dark templars draws their energy from, not the lack of photons.

so it wouldn't make sense if dark templars are affected by night
