I want to start this thread by saying that I really, really hate Adobe Reader, so this might be a bit of a biased topic.

I found out that it uses way to much system recources. I can use up to 30% of your processor power when you are only browsing a few PDF documents, and that can't be good. It also takes forever to start and it uses almost 400 MB of HD space. That's not a lot, but it's still to much, so I looked fo an alternative.

Behold Foxit Reader! It uses only 2.55 MB, starts within a few seconds and uses almost no system recources.

People might think that I'm acting like some crazy advertiser today, but I just want to share these awesome programs with people from this forum. With SC2 coming up, I want my computer to be in the best possible configuration, and this really helped me out a lot.

I almost NEVER view .pdf's, but I'll take a gander when i get home.

Course, on my computer 2.55 MB makes about as much difference as 400.

    Tera HDD FTW

Hmm, interesting. Adobe reader always hogs my CPU and it gets bad when I have to view multiple files. I had though that .pdfs were only viewable by the adobe software though; it is a proprietary format.
