Hello, I purchased a "Pre-Order Only. Game Not Included" box of Starcraft 2 software from Best Buy last week. The box is empty (I know, game not included). There are no instructions on the box on how to activate the game once it has been released. There is no activation key printed on the inside of the box. The receipt has a "Registration ID" number. I tried to use this registration number in my battle.net account to register the game but it didn't like the number. The receipt does not contain any language like "License Key" and does not have any activation instructions either. How do I activate this pre-order copy of software I purchased? I submitted a support e-mail to blizzard two days ago. I have not received a reply yet. I called Best Buy and they said I should try posting in some forums or IMing an admin in WoW. Bottom line, they didn't know either. I've attached a scanned in image of the box I purchased and my receipt. I've removed the registration number for obvious reasons. Thanks, Rob Ramsey Colorado
You need to go back to Best Buy and actually buy the game. The $5 you paid to reserve the game goes towards the purchase so instead of paying $60 at the cashier, you'll be paying $55.
