So I've been trying to get the "One Shot, Fifty Kills" Achievement for about the past hour. I also did the math and realized that I've already killed 50 units with a single penetrator round about 5 times, and yet I haven't earned the achievement. I DID NOT miscalculate. Can someone help?
saying "I DID NOT miscalculate" doesn't really inspire much faith in me that you got your math right. In fact, you sound kinda pissed because you haven't gotten the achievement after five attempts, and frustration will virtually always lead to error. You can look here for tips if you want to give it another go. The other possibility is that achievements were disabled while you were playing. I've received such notifications while in the Battle.net menus, but I get too absorbed with the games I play to notice if I receive them in-game as well.
Lol i wasn't trying to sound cocky or anything, I meant that i simply didnt miscalculate. I used a calculator on all the attempts, and the result was that i already killed 50+ units with one round. Plus, the achievements weren't turned off that time, since I was able to get a different achievement from the campaign when i played a different mission.
I have the same problem. I have over 50 kills but I'm just not getting this achievement. Have you done this achievement already? What went wrong?
I have no idea. I still can't get it to this day. I might as well as give up on it. I constantly get over 50 kills, but no achievement. The internet is working, and I am connected to battlenet, so i dont know what problem is. And unless the 3 different calculators i used are completely screwed up, im positive i got over 50 kills.
Yea, this is the last mission I need to complete to get the Sarah Kerrigan portrait. I"m not letting this holding me back lol. Gonna get help on the forum or from Blizzard. screen shot attached there you can see I killed 55 units but I still don't have the achievement.
I also heared that the achievment buggs sometimes. I tried it yesterday just to give it a shot and fortunately it worked for me. Dunno what triggers this bug, gl with it!
When I got this achievement it was in the cavern with the corridor and the infesteds, however I shot the round, and killed like 49, then jim shot one more and I got the achievement... I laughed. You should just have to wait till the corridor is full, and then fire, save and reload a few times but thats the best spot
still can't get it, I even started over the whole campagn... this is retarded. I'll call Blizzard I really want that portrait.
