Hello. I am new to this, and the whole PC gaming..... I usually play consoles only, but my friend turned me onto this game, and I really seem to like it alot. Buuuuuuuuuuuuut....... I have this one problem, and I honestly dont know what is causing it, or how to correct it.

My error is the "ACCESS_VIOLATION (0xC0000005)" error. I have been able to play the first 2 missions, but on the 3rd one when the zergs come it, it will crash at random points, then give me this same error. I just got a Radeon HD5670 graphics card, I have 4GB Ram, and a Quad Core AMD Phenom II Processor. And to top it off, I am running Windows 7 Ultimate 64bit.

I have gone through and updated everything in my PC that need updates, drivers, microsoft, etc.
But there has been one thing my pc will not allow to install, and that is the SP1 for Windows 7 Ultimate 64bit. I dont know if that is the only reason why I am crashing, if I were to somehow get that installed, it would finally work.... But her is the Error log it has given me!

If you can help, please do! I really want to play this game!

Are your drivers up to date?

Run a memtest on your RAM with only one stick in the Motherboard at a time.

Are you experiencing blue-screens or does this problem occur with any other programs?
