Is it going to be easier to get beta keys after the game is released? I kinda want that since the best way to make people buy a product is to let them test it first and that will make it a lot easier to make sc2 the main-game to play at LAN's and such, if everyone could just DL it and play with everyone. Like a demo anyone got any info on this?
After the release of the game, there won't be any beta. The meaning of beta is the period before the release of the product, where users get to test to product. Yea, they could let anyone download the game to play online for free, however I doubt that's gonna happen, because, you know... Blizzard wants to actually make money from the game. Online playing is the biggest reason for people to buy the game. There is a big difference between a demo of the game and letting everybody play the game for free. Blizzard might release a demo of the game, which let users play 1 map only, or something similar - that will let people to truly test the game, and buy it if they like. I don't think that Blizzard announced anything regarding that.
It seems as I was not making myself clear, and I now see that I typed wrong <.< What I meant was that when the beta realeases, will it be more accessable?
I think Blizzard is planning a fairly large beta. Seeing as how they've already given out 20,000 beta keys from WWI and BlizzCon '08
There will be multiple waves of beta invites going out during the beta. Even if you don't get in at the start you might still get a key 2 months into the testing. So yeah, I guess it will gradually get more accessible if that's what you were getting at, but there's still no guarantee you'll get in.
do you think some of if not 1 of the beta testers will release a torrent to dl the beta illegally for those of us who don't have beta keys but really really wanna play
Yes but the beta content could be accessable only once you have logged into Battle.net. And they could ban you if you try to bypas this check. Basically making sure only the beta testers get to use the beta. Or the other option is Blizzard just don't care if it's torrented and everyone uses it and data mines it. And are just getting siecific information about your computer so if you report an issue they can fix it better. Blizzard already said they don't care if the beta testers blog about it or post heaps of youtube video/screen shots of their game play on it. So maybe the beta keys are just there to know what type of computers and player base their users are so they can big fix/tweak the game better.

Do you know what we do in the Easter Holidays ? We hunt the eggs in chocolate and candies in the parks. So maybe Blizzard will officially launch the beta keys hunt in the Easter Holidays of this year.
