Does Starcraft use the real instrument or it just use Midi technology instrument? I'm sure the guitar sounds real though.
I'm pretty sure its real. Some of it would be computer generated, But the orchestral stuff i've heard seems pretty spot-on. Also the fact that most blizzard music is done by real musicians and a real orchestra (Warcraft stuff), why wouldn't this be?
probably all of the lead instruments were midis while the more... normal sounds were recorded that or the leads are just instruments pumped through filters and EQs and stuff like that
Nah, they'd just be synthesizers :wubclub:. But all the instruments would be EQ'd and filtered, thats just common sense (to any sound engineer/technician)..
Actually I read a text from unknown sources that some of the instrument in the orchestra music are midi. I could be wrong though, it was last year when I read that article.
Well, maybe back in the 20th century MIDI was what all the cool kids were doing. They must of had a damn good sampler with damn good samples... They sound real enough to me...
I agree. It sounds real enough to put it... I'm sure they are advance than us in the 90's. Sorry for off topic-ness but do you think that the new starcraft music will be good beyond the original starcraft?
