A somewhat promising countdown to what could be the beta (NetEase)

This is interesting because this same company has been giving hints (supposedly) to Chinese StarCraft fan sites that the beta would start in May and this particular countdown ends on the sixth of May (May 6). They are also the distributors and promoters of StarCraft 2 in China. So, this could be promising.

 

Do they have any decisive evidence?
If that's the case.. then it's only 144 hours to go!

 

Nope. Nothing decisive as far as I can tell other than what's in my first post. That's why I was hesitant to make a topic dedicated to this. If this was indeed the beta then I don't know why NetEase would be the first to do a countdown ... I guess it is possible that other countdowns will follow the next few days if this is true.

Possibly. Or at the end of August. BlizzCon 09 is August 21-22.

 

That would give them a pretty tight time table to finish the game before Christmas. I really hope they take their time, instead of rushing the game.

This is a Blizzard game. Would anyone mind if it -the full game- was released in Februari next year? Better release it then, instead of in a month where 15 other blockbusters are released. However, other companies usually avoid releasing games around Blizzard releases... I just have a good feeling about Februari.

 

I don't really care when it comes out. I'm prepared for December but a few months past that wouldn't be too bad. I've been anxiously awaiting this game since May 2007 and have been desperately wanting it since April 1, 1998

Again, what's another few months? I can keep satisfied by playing past Blizzard games, reading Blizzard books and comic books, and hanging around the forums.

 

Well you know what I'm gonna say in this thread, the earlier the better but if it says that 140 hour before launching the beta is getting nearer from now, maybe this week. Or maybe the Battle Report is the beta it self

 

Yeah like Tychus, I'm going to take this like a grain of salt. I think it could be just another game that NetEase is going to make.

 

In my opinion i dont believe it either.

But i expect the game to be released next year. Nice post though.

 

StarCraft II releases are like aliens..

we'll ill believe it when i see it. lol but i hope beta will be soon. cant wait for people to post like 1000 movies on youtube from the beta.

 

Most people will be to busy playing to make any movies.

Although, that gives the good players with nice movies more attention then otherwise. Really looking forward to what they come up with. -I just hope nobody makes any more of those movies dubbed with techno music.-

 

Please don't ever believe ANYTHING that comes out of SCWire.net. They have repeatedly exposed themselves as unable to report news, period. They have no idea what a source is and what actually constitutes news versus what Leord thinks he can pull out of his rear end.
