When you have scouted a enemy in 4vs.4 how can you counter a 4 way air attack, it seems that i always build an army of stalkers/muta's/vikings(i play random) but i can't even damage the higher tier units with them? If you ever have a player that decides to ignore the team talks does that mean that there's a good chance you are going to loose? Lastly i've found that the warp prism/collosus or immortal trick seems to catch all players off gaurd, i've spent numourous times covering my base with cannons or anti air but that ends up leading to my loss threw steamrolling later on because i've wasted the minerals, is it better to build youre force and try and find the warp prism's before they arive or is it better to be safe than sorry and build cannons/anti air? If anyone could answer these question id be grateful thanks
Unfortunately with 4v4 alot of the game depends on how well your teammates play as well. Because of the sheer volume of players you could be at the top of your game and still be overwhelmed if your teamates are not up to par. As far as the prism / colosi strat be prepared for it but don't waste to many minerals on defenses, i would suggest attempting to scout this attack and stop it before it happens.
Honestly, if all four of your opponents attack you with damn near anything, you will probably die. As the previous post talks about, you need to leverage off your allies in order to win in 4v4. Sheer numbers won't allow for anything else. But, for starters, you could mass vikings and turrets? Just a thought.
