Hi guys Just reached gold league 2v2 this week and im having a problem with a certian combo that i have to face the whole time. Please dont say "dont let it happen" cause this happens real early in the game this is like the 1st battle sometimes i can kill it but them im really crippled. The opponents go mass lings plus stalkers not allot though but the lings just meat and the stalkers focus me because the lings are so many they kinda spread my units so i cant focus that nicely. Any tips or counters that you know of? Like i said this happens quite fast and its the 1st battle. Thnx cheers
Zlots rape lings. You should always keep a narrow passage for the enmy to get into your base so that it can be easily defended. And if your partner isn't a retard he'd come help you as well. Two people together would be more than enough to kill lings and stalkers.
you have two real options against this either Macro hard and have lots of units ( get +1 up asap as it makes zealots 33% better at killing lings) or you can use some cute units with tech. such as sents with forcefield to reduce the number of lings able to hit your guys then pulling back outa range of stalkers. the easiest is to make sure you are allways producing units all the time and pulling back to get the best placement for you and the worst for them.
