The second place was taken by Maelstrom, while the one who took the third place was Crouse! W00t got my minerals I think the tourney overall was great. Too bad it was so short but that's something you have nothing to do about
It was nicely run Lombar, the only problem I saw was lack of participation, but thats not anything you have control over. If people aren't going to show up, or are unable to for some reason, there isn't anything the tournament director can do to fix it. The time limits for the rounds were reasonable, allowing us to find time if we were busy, but still being fast enough to keep the tournament moving. Your brackets were well done, and I was very impressed by all of the graphics and images you made, it gave the tournament a very official feel. On top of that the replay of the round was a very nice touch. Perhaps having a buy in fee, that went towards the prizes (100 minerals as an example), would encourage only those that would make an effort to actually participate in the tournament to join, but it also comes with a lot of drawbacks. Mostly in that it would cause more hassle for both you and the participants.
