2 Battle.net accounts using same version

    All,

First off, yes I did a search through the forums but was unable to find a good response. So I'm hoping someone here can help...

My roommate purchased Starcraft 2 via download and has been playing the single player campaign. I'd like to play on the same shared computer but don't want to overwrite his games in any way.

I've played as a guest initially but wanted to start my own full campaign. I've since registered and validated my own battle.net account but can't find the product key to associate the game to my account as well.

So long story short: Is there any way that I can play my own full campaign using this shared version and my own battle.net account?

    Thanks in advance!

Nope. 1 license key = 1 Battle.net account. If you want multi-player or achievements, you need to buy your own copy.

Damn! OK, thanks anyways. Well worth the price so I guess I'll just do it. No way to do 2 seperate campaigns through the same account so I don't step on his progress?

    Thanks for the quick response!

Erm, as far as I can see this, you can basically log in on any computer. You just need to use your own account, which means of course you must have bought and activated the game/account. There is no need to actually install the game, as long as it is already installed on the PC you are using. Even if it is someone else's computer and someone else's installation.

I think what the OP meant was he doesn't want to affect the stats/achievements of his roommate in which case, the only choice is to buy his own copy. Of course, he can play as guest but then, he doesn't get achievements.
