Yeah we noticed that. :p What I'm trying to say, is that it seems to break the setting around there. It doesn't seem as impressive when there's stores in between that are kinda out of place there. Still, it's a great town to go to! To bad that the Rijksmuseum is under construction for quite some more time. Would have been great to see the whole thing, but we still spend a lot of time there. :)
Walked through Amsterdam for 10 days with the missus. Yeah, walked. Like 5+ hours a day at least. To bad they drastically reduced the size of the red light district. You've seen everything quite quickly. =/
fine here, the really bad storms were a few states south of us. A few casualties here from the tornadoes, but nothing compared to what the southern US got.
